The Indianapolis Alumnae Chapter (IAC) of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. is claiming this sorority year as…
“The Year of the Dears”
Dedicated Energetic Active Respected Sorors (DEARS) are Sorors sixty-two years of age and older. IAC Dears include Past Presidents, Delta Legends, Centennial Legends and chapter members who are committed to making a difference in the Indianapolis community.
IAC recognizes the financial impact Dears have on the chapter, the wisdom they share and their willingness to transition into the world of modern technology. They often serve as role models and mentors, provide lessons in life experiences, and serve as resources for the history of our glorious chapter. In the IAC Family Tree, the Dears are the strong roots of our heritage and provide a firm foundation for IAC.
Awesome, Intelligent, phenomenal, classy, and faith filled are just a few of the words to describe our Delta Dears. And Yes, our Dears are also sophisticated, soul stepping sistahs who participate in our Step Show performances. We thank the Dears for their commitment to sisterhood, scholarship and service as they continue to strengthen and sustain our great sisterhood.
